Congratulations to Alex, the Next Ranger Up Girl!
As the resounding favorite, Alex will be attending UWC 6 on April 25th as the official Ranger Up Ring Girl and will be more visible in the coming months as she’s featured in her own page on the Rhino Den.

Time to Vote for the Next Ranger Up Girl!
Thanks to all of the beautiful ladies who took the time to put together photos and an essay. After hundreds of submissions, we’ve whittled the list down to 25. Your feedback is directly guiding our decision, so make sure to cast your vote! As a very public process, passing on a link to this page and survey is a great way to make sure the girl you want to win gets selected.
So, get started! Here’s how:

- Using the slideshow below, go through all 25 of our beautiful ladies. MAKE SURE TO GO THROUGH THE ENTIRE LIST, as these are in no particular order.
1 - Ashley - Army
My name is Ashley and I’m a 26 year old stay-at-home mom/wife of an Army soldier. I am very proud of what my husband does. There is nothing sexier than a man in uniform (for women of course). So many people fail to realize that our armed forces are fighting for you and your way of life. That’s why I love Ranger Up. Y’all get the word out, share the humor and antics of our serving men and women, and show some support – but I digress. I was thrilled to learn about this opportunity to represent Ranger Up and by default our great nation’s military. I think I would make a great RU Girl. So here are 10 things you should know about me: I’m a college graduate that CHOOSES to stay at home to support my husband and raise our kids. The last thing he needs to worry about is the welfare of his family and he needs not (I do a great job). I love science, especially marine biology. It’s what I studied in school and my passion. I’m not afraid to admit that it is my nerdy/guilty pleasure. My goal in life is to retire on a catamaran. I love to run. I’m too high strung to lazy around. I’ve recently gotten into trail running and it is my new favorite. A good night starts with an Irish Car Bomb for dinner. I love classic rock. I suck at Rock Band. My favorite pistol is a Glock 9mm. I love to watch a good thunderstorm. I have the patience of a saint. I just can’t ditch my Georgia roots.

After you vote, here’s a little more info as to how the final decision will be made:
Phase 1 – April 7-12:
Cast Your Vote for your vote for the Top Ranger Up Girl as well as your choice for the top girl for each military branch.
Phase 2: April 12-15
We’ll gather everyone’s feedback and the Ranger Up guys, along with some help from our blog friends, will decide which ladies will be the future Ranger Up Girls by the second week of April.
Below is a list of all candidates with their corresponding photos and essay. MAKE SURE TO READ THE ESSAYS, as their written presentation is a big factor in our consideration.
As a reminder, here’s what we’re looking for in our next Ranger Up Girl(s):
Cool - comfortable both in the public eye and private eye, she needs to be fun and intriguing
Gorgeous - DUH, but notice we somehow managed to not make it #1
Humble - hard to tell from the written word, we’re looking for a woman that’s at home in front of the camera but is also able to sit down and talk easily with our wounded soldiers.

We’ve heard the message from you loud and clear.
We need more Ranger Up Girls and we need them now.
Well, Ranger Up is pleased to announce the first ever Ranger Up Girl Contest!
Who: Cool, patriotic, beautiful women over the age of 18 (yes, we need proof)
What: Ranger Up is looking for patriotic, cool, and, of course, beautiful women to be the next set of Ranger Up Girls!
When: We are accepting submissions from now until 3 April 2009.
Please submit your pictures, service affiliation, and paragraph at business@rangerup.com
How it works:
- Please send your three favorite pictures. At least one should be full-body and they should be current.
- Please send a short paragraph about why you want to be the next Ranger Up Girl
- Let us know which service you’d like to be affiliated with (Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, or You Pick). At the end of this, there will be a Miss Ranger Up for each service and an overall winner. If you choose You Pick, we’ll pick.
- If you win, the Ranger Up photo shoot that you will take part in will be a bathing suit type shoot, so please be comfortable with that kind of attire!
- Be legitimately cool if you want to win. We love beautiful women, but the winner will have multiple opportunities to represent the company, and by extension, the men and women the company serves, so we take this seriously. Other companies might just be looking for eye candy; we’re looking for women we can be proud of…that are also eye candy.

Step 1: Submit your pictures and essay by 3 April 2009
Step 2: The Ranger Up fans vote on their favorites from 6 April to 12 April
Step 3: Ranger Up identifies the five finalists.
Step 4: Dancing with the Stars Style – Celebrity Judges comprise half the score and Ranger Up fans final vote comprise the other half
Step 5: We notify the winners and bring you out to the UWC show!
What you get if you win:
- You will be featured on the Ranger Up website and the Rhino Den, and have visibility to thousands of Ranger Up fans.
- You will be the featured Ring Girl at the UWC’s LIVE show in front of 500k people on April 24-26.
- You will be featured in at least one Ranger Up advertisement in Fight! Magazine
- You will be invited to attend VIP events representing Ranger Up throughout the year
- You will have a strong (though not yet guaranteed) opportunity to be the Fight! Magazine girl of the month.
- Contest Monetary Awards:
- Miss Ranger Up – $500
- Miss Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines – $250 - The opportunity to hang out with the Ranger Up Guys – priceless.
