Tips for Attending a Job Fair

The beginning of June is almost here and that means the rugby party in Philadelphia is about to kick off. Don’t have tickets? Email trex@rangerup.com with a list of every person, by name and email address, in your group and we will take care of the rest. Don’t have money for food? We have got you covered! Need booze, we’ve got you there as well! Ranger Up and American Sin Bin are hosting the “Official Tailgate Party.” There really is no reason why you shouldn’t be there.Portland, Oregon here we come! – The great north-west had better watch out as the RU nation is about to converge fires. Tim Kennedy is challenging the current belt holder Luke Rockhold on July 14 in Portland, OR. Start making your summer road-trip plans now to support our friend and sexual tyrannosaurus, Tim Kennedy!
New Releases – American Sin Bin released a new one this week in their ramp up for the party in Philadelphia. The Warning – Flankers shirt embodies that marvelous weakness in the opponent’s line. You’re at full speed, sprinting towards the gap. This try is going to be glorious. It’s green as far as the eye can see. You can’t believe your luck. Your glorious moment meets an abrupt end. As you feel the impact of what must have been a locomotive carrying 78 cars full of concrete, steel and hate, a voice in the back of your head marvels, “The world is so beautiful when it’s upside down and spinning. That ground is getting close. I wonder if it is going to hurt when I stop my fall with my face.” As you watch the mongol horde of a ruck form over you while you get molested, kicked, and stepped on, a gem of wisdom forms in your consciousness: Flankers may be closer than they appear!
Ranger Up released two awesome shirts this week. The first is the Good Things shirt. Sometimes phrases become part of our vernacular to such an extent that we actually start thinking of them as actual wisdom. Such is the case with the time-honored “Good Things Come to Those Who Wait”. Our assessment: The only thing worth waiting for is an L-shaped ambush. The only people that can wait around for good things to come to them are spoiled rich kids waiting for an inheritance. The rest of us need to embrace early on that we only have a short time on this giant blue rock hurtling through time and space and if we want to make the most of it, we need to get off our asses and make things happen.
My advice? Don’t wait for anything. If you find yourself waiting, ask yourself “Self, what else could I be DOING right now to get the outcome I desire?” Then execute.
And you know what? Even if you work like hell, sometimes it still isn’t going to work. So you try again and again and again until you either succeed or die trying.
There is no dishonor in failure, no embarrassment in not achieving all that you hoped for in this world. In fact, if you really are motivated, there’s no way to ever achieve your goals, because you’ll just keep moving your own goal posts. One thing is for sure though, there is nothing worth that living in the woulda, coulda, shoulda world of regret.
We all end up in the same place at the end of this mortal coil. The journey we enjoy on the way there is entirely up to us.
Good things come to those who work their asses off and NEVER GIVE UP.
Good Things comes in two different color/layout combinations.
The other new release for Ranger Up is the Ranger Up Shield shirt. Made with the ultra-thin vintage material, the Ranger Up War Eagle is emblazoned on a patriotic shield on the front. The Ranger Up motto: Not Everyone’s War Stories End in High School on the back. Bottom line: This shirt is cooler than the other side of the pillow. Stick with us and before you’re done here, you’ll be wearing gold plated diapers.
