The Rhino Den Wins – The Rhino Den won the award for Best US Army Blog at the Mil-Blog Conference this last weekend in Washington, DC.  Kelly Crigger and RU Rob were on hand to accept the award.  Thank you for taking the time to vote for us, it means a lot!  We are still working hard to bring you the funniest stories the military has to offer and give our vow to highlight those who are douchey!  You can also expect to see some new writers here in the future!

New Releases – Ranger Up Released two shirts this week.  The first is Artillery, Argument of Kings – Remember that time when the side with little or no artillery won? Yeah, me either. Nothing really says, “I am going to kick your ass until you die or quit” like a continuous barrage of 155mm rounds exploding next to you, over you, and all around you. In fact, well trained troops using the magic of kinematics and gunpowder to deliver accurate fire missions in under two minutes to within a few meters is about the scariest thing on earth. Oh you’re in a tank? So what? Oh you’re in a building? So what? Oh you’re Darth Vader fighting off a bunch of laser rounds coming at you from all sides with ease? Well let’s see you force block six guns firing HE, DPICM, and white phosphorous. We’re gonna go ahead and fire an illum round too so we can watch the end of your Sith self! Luke may have forgiven you for killing all those Jedi kids, but we sure as shit haven’t! Sorry, I just watched a Star Wars marathon. The point is, artillery is scary and thank God we’ve got the best on the planet. Napoleon called artillery the final argument of kings.  Well, hail to the King, baby.
