Retired Army MSG Mark Baker began penning PVT Murphy’s Law for his friends in 1993. In 2000, Murphy was picked up by the Army Times and since then, Baker’s genuine military humor has entertained legions of fans each week, making Private Murphy a permanent fixture in the military universe.
As the military and its campaigns have changed over the years, Private Murphy has worn many uniforms.
