Soldiering is in Kris McCray’s blood. The son of a First Sergeant, McCray’s first language was German because his family was stationed there for most of his life. Kris and his brothers all followed in their dad’s footsteps and joined the Army, either on active duty or the reserves. Kris is currently the boxing and grappling instructor at Gold Medal Grappling in Woodbridge, Virginia and sports a professional record of 3-0 and an amateur record of 9-0. When he’s not cutting through opponents in the cage, he’s slicing up cows, chickens and whatever else goes into hot dogs. His day job is a butcher.
