What is the Ranger Up Militia?
The Ranger Up Militia is made of the Ranger Up’s strongest supporters – the folks that are fired about what we’re trying to do and want to help get the word out about Ranger Up.
Why start the Ranger Up Militia?
Ranger Up is made up of a small group of vets that work nonstop to make the idea of Ranger Up a reality. There are a lot of things that we want to do for the troops and the fans and we quite candidly can’t do it without help. There just aren’t enough hours in the day.
Short version – we need help.
How do I join?
Simple – all you have to do is send an email to rangerupmilitia at gmail dot com to the following:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your general location (Fort Benning, Norfolk Naval Base, Smithfield Fire Station, etc.)
What do I have to do if I join?
You never have to do anything. You’re helping us out. We’ll make requests from time to time and if you can help us out, we appreciate it. The first two things we are asking for help with are as follows:
- Please send us the names and email addresses of at least three people you know that would like to join our email list (business@rangerup.com). The biggest challenge we face is getting the word out that we exist. This is the best way we know how to combat that. If you know more people that would love our site, then please send more emails, but please only send emails of people you have permission from. We don’t want to spam anyone.
- Put up some Ranger Up posters for us – we need your help to get the word out, so put them up anywhere you think they are appropriate – the barracks, the firehouse, the police station, the gym, the PX – anywhere! All you have to do is write us at business@rangerup.com and request posters (let us know how many you want). Once they’re up – let us know where you put them – and send a picture if you can! We’ll post them!
What do I get if I help?
We’re reluctant to make this a published tit for tat, because we really only want people doing this that are fired up about Ranger Up. That being said, I will mysteriously say that the folks that routinely help us will get rewarded – at a minimum with free gear every now and then. Over time, this could turn into a pretty good deal for people that help us the most (keep in mind that Tommy, the current head of Ranger Up Operations started as a guy that wrote the occasional article for us, then progressed to helping with design ideas, and now runs our warehouse!)
Thanks for your support!!!

Do you HAVE to be military or ex-military to join? I’m a civilian and will probably stay that way, but I’d love to help out. I really like the articles and the gear you guys have. If I had money for it it would make up my wardrobe, or at least half of it.

Hey guys, im Ron Anderson. I served in the Marines for 8 years, i got out and have been coal mining and fighting as an amateaur for about 3 years now. my record is 7-4,not stellar but i learn and improve each time out. i have fought for hooknshoot and the defunct AFL. I am looking to turn pro in the next 6 months. i really like what you guys do and what you stand for. is there anyway for me to “tryout” to become apart of your team? my coach is a recently signed strikeforece fighter named Merritt Warren, so i have a really solid team here with me. We just want and need all the help we can get. you guys are awseome, faithfully Ron”rambo” Anderson
