Junior Brand Manager – Unapologetically American Brand

Application Deadline 15 March 2012

We’re very careful with hires at RU.  We want people who are both extremely motivated and really have a passion for working here more than just about anything.  We can teach you anything you need to know, but hard work and motivation…well…you either have it or you don’t.

The Unapologetically American Brand is starting to grow faster than our current management team can handle.  We’re looking for the next employee that can help manage it.

What the job is:

  4. You’ll help manage the social media component of the brand.

  8. Can handle direct feedback without a sugar coating

If this is of interest to you, please send the following to [email protected]:

A resume’ and either:

I would love to take this job, I dont know the first thing about marketing. I have a ton of ideas, as I am a 9 year veteran from the 82nd airborne. I have been in the grit with some of the best. I would at least request more airborne shirts, and at least one 13foxtrot (forward observer) shirt…
I envy whom ever gets this post and is able to imprint their ideas on future project.s

Not sure some folks understood (unless I am wrong) this is the Unapologetically American side of the business 🙂 Nice thought, I have 40 years working in and for the Army but since I am happy right here around Redstone think I would have to pass. This job sounds more like you need several skills but one needs to be some Logsitics background and (I assume) some people skills. Unapologetically American seems to be the part of RU that appeals to citizens at large and not quite the military aspect as the RU side does. Curious to hear if I misunderstood the mission of your Unapologetically American brand.

Hey, wondering if you’d consider Unapologetically Australian, or British, or anything else(in the appropriate nation of course). I think you’d be surprised by the patriotism of Australians, especially since 2000 or so.
    Drop me a line.

Sounds like agreat opportunity served 20 years in the military. Served with the greatest Americans. I think whoever gets this job has a commitment to not only the men and women of our armed forces but to the American people who still believe in the ideals of our Declaration of Independence to remind the non-believers that there are people in this world who still believe in AMERICA!! RU members if you ever need some idea’s for a new shirt let me know if you are intersted, I am currently a peace officer deal with the worst of the worst in an AD-SEG unit in a prison. Thank you for you time. SSgt J. Lynch U.S. Army (retired) 7th I.D., 101st Airborne, 5th S.F.
